We have a need for committee members with particular skills:-
- Finance/bookkeeping. We wish to introduce internet banking and computer-based accounts (very simple format, possibly Excel).
- Computers. Various skills from managing the memberships through the web site to updating the web site with WordPress and managing our Facebook page.
- Event Management. Assisting the President in the planning, management and leading our events, particularly at our annual gathering.
- Web shop manager. Managing the sale of a small number of items through the web site, currently polo shirts and small items of silver jewellery. The manager would need to hold a small stock at their home.
Our committee meets face-to-face twice a year, once at the annual gathering and at another time of the year, and regular contact by email and telephone.
